1 个月Ageism in Hollywood??? I don't see that at all and I am an old broken down 75 year Vietnam Veteran. Last Friday, finally, after almost 20 years of filing for disabilty due to: 1. Exposure to Agent Orange 2. A heart Aorta 4.34 cm large as of TWO years ago! Three cartiologists now have informed me that, when this Aorta valve reaches 5 cm latge I will need OPEN HEART surgery!! 3. I have been on high blood pressure meds for 35 years! The only reason it hasn't been longer was before July of 1989, I had no idea I had high blood pressure! How did I find out? 3. The Federal Aviation Administration hired me as a Professional Airway Systems Specialist way back in 1975 as a still green and wet behind the hears 25 year old. 4. Why? Because I had 2.5 years of training and experience during the Vietnam War as a 35K20 Avionics Specialist. 5. Between September of 1969 and September of 1970, I served as a 35K20 Aircraft Avionics expert with the US Army. 6. Joined for 3 years instead of allowing myself to be drafted (high draft number). So how was I impacted physically during my year in 'Nam? 7. Well, let's stick with the physical ones. The mental ones? Ask my best friend. ceiving a 40% disability check after 20 years of filing for it!
