Extreme Means It's Not Normal

As we see and hear incurious extremists try to exert their moral certainty on society, most of us are waving invisible and silent signs of protest that read, “It’s a knotty issue,”“There are grey areas,” “Help me to better understand,”“I’m not sure,” “Maybe there’s a middle ground,” and “Maybe there’s another way to look at this…”?all going unnoticed. Never has such a large crowd been so overlooked.
