Extract information from Cisco UCS C220 M4 Server

I worked with this server many times and today I am trying to explain how to extract server information which is very important for advanced configuration.

connect laptop and server via ethernet port.

In this step use the KVM switch if you do not aware about IP address and interface details.

lunch KVM > go to HTML version >type root> username >password>enter

> type ip a > enter

So you will get a window like this.

In this, we can find all the IP details.

Once you have the required IP information use the management ethernet port and connect the laptop

Open PUTTY or any other terminal > connect > insert ip>enter>root>enter username>enter password>enter

next >type >cat /proc/cpuinfo>enter        

Then you will get all the server information.
