Google Slides extensions can help you create new presentations, connect to third-party systems, and integrate your data with other Google Workspace applications. You can find add-ons in the Google Workspace Marketplace.

How to add an Extension in Google Slides

To use an extension, you can:?

  1. Click "Extensions" in the navigation bar
  2. Hover over "add-ons" and select "Get add-ons"
  3. Click the icon that appears on the right of the address bar

Another way to get around the SVG icon inconvenience is to add the Flaticon extension. It allows you to search for an icon, as well as edit the dimensions and color all without having to leave Google Slides.
