Expression Of Interest (EoI) for hiring of services of Parachute Designer/Advisor, Department of Defence Production (issued 06-Sep-2022)

#GlidersIndiaLimited, Kanpur is a Govt. of India Enterprise working under #ministryofdefence. GIL is a Public Sector Undertaking incorporated on 01st October 2021 under the companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) with 100 % equity share held by Government of India. Prior to this, GIL was part of erstwhile OFB (Ordnance Factory Board) under Dept. of Defence Production, Govt. of India.

·????????Ordnance Parachute Factory, Kanpur is a Unit of GIL is involved in manufacture of parachute and boats for Indian Armed Forces, MHA, State Police, Civil Sector and export.

·????????GIL through its production unit is equipped with state of the art NABL Accredited Laboratoryfor all kind of input materials inspection.

The objective of this Expression of Interest (EoI) is to hire an Individual Consultant having essential knowledge and specific experiences required for development of new items and to innovate existing OPF items on Time based (Retainer-ship) Contract basis.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

a) The intended Individual Consultant should have all technical knowledge, experience & capabilities required for design/development/modification and prototyping of parachute. The detailed Scope of Work is mentioned in Terms of Reference (ToR).

b) The required Qualifications & Experience of Individual Consultant has been mentioned in Terms of Reference (ToR).

c) GIL reserves the right to seek additional information from participating individuals, including detailed presentation of their proposal.

d) GIL reserve the right, solely at its discretion to modify or issue another EoI at a later date without assigning any reason whatsoever.
