Expression of Gratitude to the People and Government of Guinea for Hosting a State Visit by Somaliland President and His Delegations
The stated visit by the President of Somaliland Republic HE Musa Behi and large Senior Delegation to Guinea is a Diplomatic breakthrough for the people and Government of Somaliland and we hereby, take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the President of Guinea HE President Alpha Conde. The visit is a sign of Somaliland’s rapid acceptance across the African continent and its growing economic and trading links with other nations.
The Somaliland Government has continued to building its case for recognition on the basis of trade and business opportunities with its major Africans nation, we hereby state that an independent Somaliland capable of trading with Africa/World and being part of the Global Nation of free states will be a benefit to all nation whose object is strengthen peace, prosperity and security among nations of the world.
We hereby condemn Somalia Government public interference on Somaliland barletrial relations with the International community . Somalia neighboring to Somaliland continues to be ridden with violence, instability and terrorism, while Somaliland is enjoying stability and peace. Somalia continues to battle Al Shabaab on a daily basis despite massive support from AMISOM peacekeepers has suffered 589 documented acts of terrorism and assassination. By comparison, Somaliland has see only 1 act of terrorism in 27 years.
This peace and stability and open market economy is the reason why 10,000 Kenyans have made the journey to Somaliland in search of jobs and economic opportunity.
Kenyans can be found living freely and making a good living in the Somaliland capital, Hargeisa working as teachers, hotel managers, restaurateurs, architects, advisors in agriculture, construction and much more. Somaliland Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation Hon. Yassin Haji Mohamoud said the mission to Guinea is to build the same kind of close relations with West African countries as Somaliland enjoys with East African nations.
