Today I thought it was time to express my gratitude to someone special who played an important role in who I have become:
Novella Bora
A friend, a partner, a mentor.
I still remember when she suggested we work together because she was starting her own business and wanted to work with someone she trusted. She knew my key skills and experience and invited me to join her.

Until then I was reluctant in starting my own activity though.
Fear of failing and putting my face out there. I was not confortable with the idea in the beginning, but she insisted and pushed me to start my entrepreneurial life.
We started collaborating as partners with 100% transparency.
Novella was living in Spain at this time and I had just started my new life in France (my 5th country living experience).
Our goal was since the beginning working remotely and acting at a global level. Our collaboration involved mainly executive search and tailor-made services for top executives in career transition.
As many entrepreneurs may experience at some point, we had also many stones on our way, but we never stopped looking for innovative solutions.
I will never forget that when only a few months after we started the partnership, I lost my father and we had just signed an important client. Novella was very understanding, supportive and present at this difficult time and it really kept me going when I almost gave up on everything.
With all our differences, adversities and life changes, we could always find ways of learning from each other and grow. We still do so.

At some point our paths started taking different directions.
I took the time to properly review my business model, took steps back and connected deeply my own values to find my purpose:
That was it, Diversity and Inclusion integrated fully in all my services.
Today I can say I am truly happy professionally.
It is rewarding to have a purpose by creating impact through your business.
A constant learning and growing.
And all this would not be possible if Novella didn’t push me in the beginning and mentored me to start being an entrepreneur.
Thank you Novella from the bottom of my heart!
Daniela
