[EXPOSED DAY 26] “We have so many things to do!”
Michee Santos
Helping startup entrepreneurs build systems so they can focus on working on their business and letting it run on its own
As you start to scale you’ll soon find you and your team would have so many things to do to the point that you don’t even know which one to start on.
Guess what, if you don’t, neither does your team. So you need to take on the lead.
You’re now probably at the point where delegating is no longer hard, in fact, it’s easy for you to ask your team to do this and that but it doesn’t stop there.
? You have to be aware of everyone’s load. ?
Delegating isn’t just passing things on, it’s also setting the priorities.
Remember, not everything is URGENT.
Here’s what we do:
?? List down everything that needs to be done.
?? Distribute it to your team with your desired due dates
?? Look at the load of each team member, including your own list, and ask these questions:
- Is this too much for today?
- Can another person take it on?
- Are there things that I can move to another day?
This is how you prevent burn outs for both you and your team.
And I feel I need to repeat this - NOT ?? EVERYTHING ?? IS ?? URGENT. ??
Reserve rallying your team for when it really matters.
