EXPORTS NIGERIA

I love business, economics, and the impact it has on the lives of individuals and societies similarly. In particular for me, are businesses that are thriving in developing countries despite the unfavorable socio-economic markers that depict these climes.?

Nigeria been one of these countries is of peculiar interest to me based on two reasons. First I’m Nigerian, secondly the consumer-centric nature of this environment.

Various reports have shown that more than 50% of what we consume is not produced in the country which makes our economy overtly dependent on imports. This is why I get really excited when I see businesses that produce or manufacture locally for consumption and exports. Also given the harsh realities of running a business in Nigeria I’m much more excited when i see them thrive. I have decided to shine the light on these companies weekly. Tech, non-tech, goods and services companies that produce locally for a global community.

On a weekly basis, I will be using this medium to do a brief exposé on small, medium, and large scale enterprises thriving in the exports space Nigeria.?

I believe you and I will learn a lot and also get to open our minds to possible future opportunities in this space.
