Expo World? Yes, it's Alive & Kicking!

Many marketers were quick to announce the death of events and expo - no need for face2face interaction - “Everything is Digital” they thought. Boy were they wrong! The digital era has made the world a lonely planet, most of personal and business communication became long distance, people rarely meet in person. Surprisingly or not, this fact made the world of events grow dramatically in the past years.

We do business with people whom we know, like and trust.

Meet the People in Real Life

Making an effort to meet your clients in person may not be a priority with heavy workloads and little time, but this is perhaps the most valuable and useful way of communicating with your customers and prospects. Yes, it might be more convenient to send an email, pick up the phone, or even video call, but the face2face interaction is merely priceless.

Expo World – the Main Playground of Every Company

Today's world of events and expo has turned out to be the primary, serious playground for every company. Attending and presenting at an expo translates to “I am alive, and I have a breaking new promise to bring to our world.” Establishing a presence for your company at a trade show gives you a robust platform for meeting new customers, reaching out to your existing clientèle, and building a more established and reliable brand.

With the right strategy and a lot of hard work, every trade show you attend is an opportunity to expand your company’s customer base and your circles.

Sounds easy? Think again. As you are walking the venue, it is easy to detect lack of preparation and the mentality of "will manage" "will finagle this." It is true we are all busy with daily tasks and deadlines which don't leave us much time to get ready for the magnitude of this opportunity. We can do better in a few simple steps that ROI is the main if not the only mission.

I couldn't agree more. Despite the digital world becoming stronger and allowing for quicker touch points there's no replacement for face to face interactions and informal discussions.
