EXPO RETOMADA - Test Exhibition in Brazil

Mariane Ewbank, IELA Board Member and Fulstandig Show E Eventos Director, attended EXPO RETOMADA in Sao Paulo from October 14th-15th 2020. This was a test event where all protocols were tested.

Mariane explains how the Brazilian exhibition and event supply chain has tested all protocols and is clearly ready for reopening.

"It was so fantastic to be able to be back on-site at a show, to meet friends, partners and customers. The best of all was to have the feeling again and the vibes that everybody is ready to be back!"

Mariane interviewed Sergio Jardim, Clarion Events Brazil CEO and organiser of LAAD Exhibition, who confirmed "We are ready for reopening, with all security measures requested by the authorities in place". 

Sergio highlighted the value of the face-to-face events for new businesses and networking as the best way for generating business leads. He also stressed on the importance of expert freight forwarders, in particular for Defence and Security shows, as the Authorities have special requests.

Addressing international exhibitors, Sergio confirmed the industry is ready and invited them to come to Brazil for exhibitions.
