In previous years, Emerging Themes in Behavioral Health has featured speakers who have touched upon this important topic. In 2023, Martha B. Koo, M.D., LFAPA, FASAM, FCTMSS brought attention to the importance of "set and setting" in psychedelic experiences, emphasizing the need for a supportive and therapeutic environment to maximize the benefits and minimize potential risks associated with ketamine treatment.

This year, we are excited to bring together a panel of professionals including: Gita Viad, MD; Joe Tafur, MD; Marcus Rogan, PsyD; and Zachary Rothenberg with diverse backgrounds in both psychedelic research, legal, ?and?professional practice.
