"I think there's still a knock on effect from the pandemic, and especially when you work in a research space, a lot of companies see that as a nice to have. Obviously we see that as a complete necessary. So if you think about a scenario whereby you might be putting out a TV ad, and you don't ask your audience what they think of that before it goes live, that's a huge missed opportunity for us, and also something that you shouldn't miss out on. But a lot of businesses don't always have that drive or desire to do insights first before actually doing the creation. So it's a challenge."

What would you say your biggest learning was as a business in 2023??

"Being really sound financially, you really need to be smart with your finances. But then on top of that, it's reminding ourselves of the vision. Do you still believe it? Don't lose sight of it. You know, it is a rollercoaster, things can be really difficult at times and things can be really great. But just constantly reminding yourself to go, okay, we are doing this for a reason, right? We started the business for a reason. We are here four and a half years later for a reason. Let's keep reminding ourselves of that while also being very smart financially and using those models that work for our business."

It can be really challenging and OK to feel like that, and most other business owners will feel that as well. So knowing that there are other people out there. But also don't be afraid of therapy, it shouldn't be something that we don't really talk about in this country, it has worked for me personally".
