Exploring the Journey of Creativity with Gary Hirsch: Joy, Exuberance, and a Mural that Connects Us All

Oh, I was so close to making the trip out to Portland with my daughter Nina to attend Gary Hirsch 's vernissage! Unfortunately the stars didn't align this time.
Viewing the two preview pictures in his last announcement post for his new exhibition brought back fond memories of the creativity and camaraderie behind the making of the stunning "BotJoy's Helping Each Other Out!" mural. Check out this fun behind-the-scenes video of the mural coming to life:?
For those who don't know the backstory, I had invited Gary to be the Artist in Residence at Software AG's International User Group Conference in Budapest last month. It was incredible to watch him nudge attendees out of their comfort zones and unlock their creativity through his interactive art installations. Dive deeper into this intriguing experience here:
We had grand plans to gift a Gary Hirsch mural to the beautiful city of Budapest; however, the bureaucratic labyrinth prevented us from securing the required permit in time.
Yet, every cloud has a silver lining.

En route home, Gary stopped by my home in the Black Forest. Spotting a perfect blank canvas on my wall, he said "This is an excellent wall for a mural!" An affirmative "Well, I got paint!" from me set into motion an unforgettable weekend and my new vibrant video conference backdrop.
Check out the little stop motion animation recording of its creation above.
Gary's art has a way of bringing people together and awakening creativity within them. I was asked just yesterday if I could bring Gary to an Innovation Fest in Sofia, Bulgaria that we are organizing. I wish I had the budget!
The beauty of Gary's art is the journey, the process, the joy, the story - not just the final piece. I hope you'll explore his new collection and possibly even be part of creating more art. More art does us good!
