Exploring Generative AI: My Learning Experience at NIT Delhi

I’m excited to share that I recently completed the AICTE ATAL Faculty Development Program on “Generative AI: Techniques, Tools, and Applications” at NIT Delhi from February 3rd to 8th, 2025!

?This six-day journey was an eye-opener, diving deep into the world of Generative AI and its limitless possibilities. We explored GANs, VAEs, and Large Language Models (LLMs), learning how they generate realistic text, images, and even synthetic data.

?One of the best parts? The hands-on experience! We worked with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face, experimenting with AI models and seeing their real-world applications. It’s one thing to read about AI, but actually building and testing models takes learning to a whole new level.

?Beyond the tech, we also had thought-provoking discussions on AI ethics, bias, and responsible AI practices—because innovation should always come with accountability.

?It’s fascinating to see how Generative AI is reshaping industries like healthcare, education, creative arts, and automation. The potential is endless, and I’m eager to bring these insights into my teaching, research, and future projects.

?As a faculty member at SNS College of Technology, I believe learning never stops, and this program has fueled my enthusiasm to explore even further. AI isn’t just about automation—it’s about creativity, problem-solving, and pushing boundaries.
