Exploring Engineering Marvels: Our Industrial Visit to Mysore

Recently, our team had the privilege of visiting VIKAS Construction in Mysore as part of an insightful industrial visit. This experience proved to be an invaluable learning opportunity, enhancing our knowledge about modern construction techniques and architectural wonders.

At VIKAS Construction, we were introduced to the innovative use of steel structures in building designs, enabling durability and efficiency. Additionally, we gained insights into crafting minimal-budget construction plans, a crucial aspect of sustainable and cost-effective construction. The company coordinators went above and beyond in explaining every detail, ensuring our visit was both educational and engaging.

Beyond the technical learning, our visit also included exploring some of Mysore's iconic landmarks. The majestic Mysore Palace left us in awe of the architectural brilliance from a bygone era, showcasing intricate designs and timeless craftsmanship.

We also visited the Chiklihole Dam, where we delved into the structural engineering and integration of the dam's various components. This visit highlighted the importance of water resource management and the engineering expertise required for such monumental projects.
