Your trusted source of energy news, fostering a deeper understanding of the energy sector
Hey guys, hope you are all having a great week! We wanted to share with you some stories that caught our attention. First up, a recent study highlighted the growing concerns surrounding costs, which have unfortunately pushed the green agenda down the priority list for many SMEs. On a related note, it seems that the majority of Brits are currently hesitant to participate in hydrogen heating trials, shedding light on the challenges of transitioning to cleaner energy sources. But fear not, there's also some positive news: Good Energy has just unveiled their innovative Power Matching Initiative, which aims to revolutionize the way we consume and share electricity. Let's dive into these stories and explore the ever-evolving landscape of sustainable energy together.
Good Energy ’s founder and CEO, Juliet Davenport is also the president of the Energy Institute and will be at the #BigZeroShow on 20th June in Coventry. She will be giving a very insightful talk about why making your business green makes sense financially. If you are a business and you want to reduce energy, carbon and costs, get your free ticket and join us.
Before I leave you, here are some other stories for you to check out:
See you all next week!

1 年Thanks for posting Guys Regarding the hesitation by the public in the use of hydrogen. Two points to note. Firstly there has been much blatant scare mongering by certain sectors and individuals over the use of hydrogen. So I have been checking this out for myself. I can honestly say that with respect to the potential dangers in hydrogen usage, from what I have found out, the use of hydrogen poses less risks than natural gas. My feeling is that there is concern amongst the 'Electrify Everything Brigade' that they will be unable to overturn the strong position that the gas industry currently has. My only interest is that the consumers have access to what they need not what groups want to sell them. Secondly, people as a whole don't like change. They certainly don't like it forced on them be that an alternative fuel or technology, especially when it's going to cost them a lot more. There are so many people who just can't afford it. So that's who I am supporting.
