Exploring the AI Revolution: ChatGPT and Google Bard transforming human-technology interaction

In recent times, we have heard a lot about artificial intelligence, but do we really know what it is and how it is applied in our lives? In this article, we will explore two AI models, ChatGPT and Google Bard, that are revolutionizing the way we interact with technology.

Firstly I would like to comment that artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science dedicated to the development of algorithms that enable machines to make intelligent decisions or exhibit human-like capabilities, such as reasoning, creativity and learning. In this context, two virtual assistants stand out: Google Bard and ChatGPT.

On the one hand, Google Bard is a conversational AI developed by Google based on LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) technology. With access to a large amount of data, Bard provides original and accurate answers, specifically trained to improve its dialogue capabilities. Its main objective is to generate reports, summaries, marketing materials and translations, as well as to provide ideas and write technical content.

On the other hand, ChatGPT is an AI model developed by OpenAI, with a wide range of knowledge and understanding on a variety of topics. Although its data is based on information collected through September 2021, and can generate answers that may be nonsense or incorrect in certain cases, Chat GPT is tuned to perform natural language processing tasks, such as answering questions, translating and summarizing text.

Moreover, artificial intelligence is bound to have a big impact on our lives, but to what extent? Will junior consultants disappear if these chatbots can deliver their presentations? Will fewer HR professionals be needed to evaluate candidates? Will human thinking still be important in this new context? While AI is one of the most significant innovations in history, its development and application will depend on how we use it and integrate it into our lives.

Finally, it is essential to discuss the ethical and social implications of these technologies, ensuring that they are used responsibly and for the benefit of society as a whole. As Republican Josh Hawley commented the other day in the U.S. Congress, artificial intelligence is "one of the most significant innovations in history", but...will it be like the invention of printing or the invention of the atomic bomb?
