MARS EXPERIENCE BUS
INTRODUCTION
The world’s first immersive reality experience vehicle is at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex during Summer of Mars. Lockheed Martin’s Mars Experience Bus uses real NASA imagery of Mars, allowing visitors to explore 200 square miles of the Martian surface, all from the inside of a standard-sized school bus. Take a seat and tour around, and catch sights of current rovers and an idea of what the first base camp may look like. Visitors can also design their very own custom mission patch to go along with a complimentary mission brief and Mars poster.
The Mars Experience Bus is located in the Rocket Garden from June 26 to September 4, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day and is included with daily admission. Note that while at the visitor complex, the Mars Experience Bus will be stationary. No travel is involved.
