During the last two years, digital marketers predicted online video consumption behaviour as a trend and by 2019 online video content creation has become a trend. With Instagram story filters, ARs and apps like TikTok and emerging content creators vloggers have an impact over the instant video content creation and distribution. Even though the technology was the main barrier to create video content, Mobile apps, and advance technologies incorporating to mobile devices has made it easier. it is that easy to create video content using your mobile and disseminate your content through your mobile. Now, this is the early stage of the mobile-only era.

We as marketers always seek the opportunities to reach the correct target audience. We are looking for a perfect story, perfect timing and perfect medium. Out of all the facts, your story/content is the most powerful fact that sparks conversation among the community.

During the last 3-4 months, TikTok has become one of the most attention-grabbing platforms among the youth and also among the marketers. The main reason behind that was

  1. It allows you to be creative
  2. Video length - make it short and simple
  3. Video editing options available
  4. User-friendly platform
  5. Community

In the local context, TikTok community is still emerging and TikTok campaigns and brand profiles are still havent decide their strategy to approach this niche market. Even though the local community has fewe content creators, people who consume TikTok videos is huge.

How to bring my brand fit into this niche audience? The very first question you should ask from yourself is whether my brand is fit in with this audience. If yes let me give some tips to start your campaign.

A platform where consumers explore and recall music tracks

Am I the only one to explore new music tracks using the TikTok platform? one single upload can create thousand and millions of User-generated content and those contents create the frequency by reaching the same person with different creative content. Have you ever wonder that what if you can place your brand message in the music track/ Audio track even though your brand is not visually present in the video.

Tiktok algorithm will automatically push the content that you 've shown some interest during the past time period.If the uploaded audio track is more appealing to the audience a higher chance that you will enned up getting more views to your videos.


Amplify your reach

Your content could be seeded using TikTok influencers. But non of the influencers can make it a success unless your content is strong enough to appeal the content creators. The more you try to commercialize the content, you will get a lesser reach for your content.

Use the correct #Hashtags

A hashtag is a mini search engine work within the app that allows you to find more relevant content you prefer. The more you use the relevant hashtag you will get more views for your content.

Make it unique

your TikTok campaign shouldn't be your TVC. It should be craft as a sperate strategy to tell your brand message in a creative way. At last but not least your creative concept and the video idea will help to generate user-generated content and pass your brand message among the community.
