Is our life like milk? Having an expiry date? This was a question I had since I was a teenager when everyone around me were focusing so much and the age and the limitations that comes with it. Yes, I do get it we do have an expiry date when it comes to death and in a way, it makes our life more meaningful, if we lived our lives the way we wanted at least.
Dreams though? Do they have an expiry date? Or dreams have a deadline? My best friend told me Dreams without actions are just dreams, they will never turn into an idea, into a reality. It is funny isn’t it, when you were a child probably you had an idea every 5 minutes. “When I grow up I want to be a doctor, an astronaut, a writer” Then life happens, and you found yourself at the age of 50’s and you look yourself into the mirror and you are wondering what happened to that young face.
Here it is the miracle though that now you have that experience that you haven’t had before, now you know or at least you should know what is important for you. You know what else I was thinking the other days? Who said that we can only have one career? One dream? And who said that you are not allowed to change your dreams?
Wow, so many limitations put by us blaming the society, but a point comes in life that it is you that you are the only responsible person in your life. Many times, people were calling me a dreamer but is it just me? No, there are many dreamers out there, but the sad fact is that they allowed to all these limitations to stop them to discourage them by chasing the path that they feel is the best for them. Even that maybe that path wasn’t the one that you thought it was, but you will never be found out unless you try.
After losing two best friends in less than 10 months I reminded myself that thirst I had as a child and I dare to follow a new path or an improved path. I love changes because it makes me feel liberated and reborn. The goal was to find happiness and fulfilment, surprisingly I was in the wrong path for so many years but everything that I had done so far brought me where I should suppose to be. Now, it is my time to shine in the path of health (first aid), wellness-life coaching and yoga. I want my yoga studio to be a sanctuary for people who will feel reborn and ready to tackle the challenges of life.
We are rushing all the time that we don't even realize what are we doing. When was the last time that you had your coffee or tea just looking outside your window enjoying life, listening to birds or just to everything that is out there. No rush but no procrastination either. Learn to prioritize your health and wellbeing.

“Change is as good as a rest” Age is irrelevant. What is relevant is how many excuses will you still find to yourself for being unhappy. Happiness is the summary of good moments. Let’s have more good moments. Also, when you learn to love yourself more then you will feel more shielded to face any challenge that you might have to face in life. What are you waiting exactly? How many dead dreams you have shoved under the bed?
Who said that life must be boring and unpleasant? We are still, here aren’t we?
Enjoy your Sunday :)
Thank you for your time.
