On experiments with sleep
Of late I've been averaging about 3hrs 45mins of sleep in discontinuous intervals over the day.
Of course it isn't healthy.
It does provide some interesting insights though;
Two of which are commendable :
1. The body's sleep debt
No matter how little you sleep during the night, the body will reclaim the EXACT remaining amount over the day OR during the weekend.
I wear a sleep tracker. I can tell you that it's quite efficient at doing this. The precision it does it with is almost surgical and most fascinating.
See illustration from sleep tracker:
2. Sleeplessness as a guide to finding what you love
I often have trouble finding what I love as opposed to what I don't. I believe that most of us have this problem.
However a sleep deprived mind makes cake of this activity.
It's quite simple; the only way to stay awake is to do the things you love.
Journal what you did during this time and you'll have yourself an invaluable list of activities you truly love. It might even surprise you.
