Experiencing Life with "No Limits" (by Mukesh Bansal)
“mens sana in corpore sanoâ€: a healthy mind in a healthy body
No Limits by Mukesh Bansal is a book that can help you to up your game both in professional as well as personal life for exponential growth. Another gem in the non-fiction genre that has increased my love for the same. According to me, the main challenge for a non-fiction genre author is to make the readers believe in the same mindset/perspective as the author is illustrated through his writing. I found Mukesh Bansal has excelled in this challenge as the author, started this book by giving details about his life’s journey as a student to becoming a successful entrepreneur while claiming numerous failures to be the stepping stones for this success.
Sourabh Garge has done a fantastic job with the cover.
The title does perfect justice to the content and the concept of the book. The blurb mentions rightly that this book gives insights as to how to drive the mind and body of a person to get the desired results needed to transform one’s life.
The author’s approach is very crisp and simple. As he rightly mentions in one of his interviews “This book is a summary of 50 books in itselfâ€.
The book is divided into four parts that throw light on small and different observations of life that we tend to miss in our daily life. Furthermore, every chapter is filled with various Performance Hacks those help in understanding the path that the author takes to explain the numerous concepts on how to be a high performer. There are 43 performance hacks in total well covered in 337 pages of this book.
The book takes an extensive approach to self-growth, including many instances of daily life like food, sleep exercise, habit formation and many more.
The core of this book is the author’s belief that every human on this planet has an incredible potential that could be grown and nurtured with the right effort. Any new skill can be learned and any goal can be achieved if you put your heart, mind, and soul into it. As quoted, “Talent is not innate. It can be developed with conscious endeavorâ€
I personally loved the "No Limits Performance Cheat Sheet" and the "No Limits Toolkit" which helps them keep track of their learning.
The writing style is quite exceptional, every concept is explained with multiple instances on his extremely well performed research in areas like human psychology, brain functionality, a person’s mere habits which become the defining potential unique from the others and many more such areas.
I would strongly recommend this book to people who don’t believe in mere luck and are ready to learn and grow themselves and work for that extra push needed to achieve their goal.
Looking forward to reading more gems from the author.
