The Future of AI

When you hear the term AI, it might evoke an image of a distant future filled with androids and flying cars, but the truth is you interact with artificial intelligence every day. From your social media feed and car navigation, to online banking and identity verification, AI comes in many forms and is being used to assist our daily lives in a miraculous way.

AI is also being used across the enterprise, and innovative companies, like Soul Machines, are using AI technology to create powerful empathetic customer experiences.

"Powered by cutting-edge AI and CGI technologies, [Soul Machine's] Digital People can hear, see, think, understand and respond with emotionally appropriate gestures. [Their] purpose is to foster meaningful interactions. As a fully integrated part of the customer experience, they can augment the human workforce and even serve as brand ambassadors."

IOIO has been using AI to power our platform since 2018, and today our AI capabilities have manifested into an intuitive transcription and translation service that has saved our customers millions of dollars in subtitling and closed captioning costs.

When Tableau needed to host hundreds of simulated live-linear channels in five different time zones, they chose us to help them accomplish this feat. By leveraging IOIO's AI transcribe and translate services, Tableau was able to cut their costs by 80% and saved over $1.1 million dollars. They were also able to meet their global demand and communicate more effectively through a more intuitive customer experience.

Connection and Culture Beyond the Office

For many companies around the world, the office has gone away, giving leaders and companies an opportunity to think differently about the employee-employer relationship. In a flexible work environment, there has to be direct intention around creating memorable work experiences, all of which amount to a thriving company culture and community.

In a recent seminar, Ariana Huffington, CEO of Thrive and co-founder of the Huffington Post, spoke about leading distributed teams while building technology that empowers connection, engagement and collaboration. When asked if Huffington thought it was possible to build an amazing culture remotely, she responded with an enthusiastic yes, but stressed that the right technology will still only take a company so far.

"We are realizing that we can’t figure it all out if we think that everything will be solved by technology. Technology can help us, but human upscaling has to be a part of the future," said Huffington. "[The intention to build culture remotely] starts from the very beginning of the employee life cycle. Onboarding is sacred [because] it is the opportunity to embed culture from day one."

At IOIO, we are enabling a new way to work, but we are also fostering a new way to lead. If you are rethinking the ways your company creates cohesiveness and alignment, request a demo at ioConnect.tv and learn more about how we are transforming work across the globe.
