Expeditors Brings Electric Delivery to Brazil
In June 2024, Expeditors in Brazil reached a significant milestone in sustainability by launching a regular 100% electric road transport operation for a specific customer's pick-up and deliveries. In partnership with a strategic customer who needed to comply with corporate gas emission guidelines, our specialists studied the customer’s logistics chain and identified an opportunity to help them achieve this goal.
As a daily operation, we replace a diesel vehicle, maintaining the same lead time but in a more sustainable way. We successfully met the customer’s expectations, significantly contributing to reducing their carbon footprint. At Expeditors, we create tailored plans for our clients, adapting to their specific needs and promoting innovative solutions.
