Expectations Lead to Disappointments

I was travelling from work to home when I saw this Hawker selling vada pavs at the side of the street. The aroma of the same was beyond explainable plus the rainy weather amplified my cravings for it. I stood at the corner of the street trying to make up my mind whether I should buy the same. Finally, after denouncing the fact that I had to lose weight I went ahead and bought the vada pav. Eating something hot in the cold monsoon season is a vibe on its own. I stared at the vada pav guy who was busy chopping onions post that I paid him 20 rupees and was on my home.

Honestly, you could have just skipped the top paragraph and just read this part but I had to make a point because of the title. To deal with the same Just follow the below pointers:

  • Keep best case as well as worst case scenarios ready - When dealing with a potential client best case is he will give XX amount of business and the worst case would be he won't even spend a penny. This helps manage sanity once the outcome takes place.
  • Keep trying: Think of multiple ways of achieving a target and work towards it, either it will bear fruit or you would have to uproot the tree and grow a new one instead.
  • Be realistic and open to criticism: This was my first article so am open to the same.
