Expectations

The root of so much conflict starts with expectations.

Whether between friends, coworkers, or nations.

Know when you set expectations with someone, they may let you down.

However, the expectations you have of yourself are different because you create the sound.

Others will try to hold themselves true,

?but sometimes they forget what previously from their mouth did spew.

Expectations can be amazing, able to wake you up and keep you going,

?or they can crush your trust without those responsible even knowing.
