Expectations on 2021 and 2022

Life itself is a hope, isn't it ? But we know that this is not enough in today's age. It's sad to come across the reality of how important health really is.

Have you planned a vacation with your family for the next year ? Is the trip to the far east after 2 months with your friends still valid ? How many % do you estimate the deviation in your business's 2021 sales forecast. How many % do you aim to increase your profitability compared to the previous year ? Was it time to replace your car with a new top model ? Do you want to celebrate your wedding with 1000 people or should it increase to 1500 ? Should you change your company's building and look for a building in a more upscale neighborhood?

It was very easy to find answers to these questions 1.5 years ago, but today these questions seem foreign to us, right?

Our lives and work styles are in format change, the thing we call the future is already knocking at our door because we are actually unprepared. However, due to the position of Homosapiens in the world, it is not likely to give up easily. This will take some time and pain, but ultimately it will eventually fall off our agenda, like these disasters that have happened over hundreds of years.

Of course, our exhilaration will not be enjoyable until we leave our agenda from Covid 19. I follow the vaccine studies closely and I think that the introduction of vaccines, which should normally be developed within 6-8 years, in a short period of 1 year is due to the pressure of governments on pharmaceutical companies to slow down the economic collapse. For this reason, even if these vaccines, which have been developed in a hurry, are applied to 100% of the population of the whole world, is it not scary that this nightmare will not be erased from the world according to the failure percentage of the vaccine?

If I consider that the vaccination rate will remain at 70% in developed countries, 50% in developing countries and 10% in undeveloped countries next year, I expect that the virus, which increases the transmission rate with mutation, will continue to be the number 1 of our agenda in 2021 and 2022. As a summary; The nightmare seems to continue with today's temperature for 2 more years. Because, as we could not predict before, it is still unknown what we will encounter, which we cannot predict.

Today, consumer societies are trying to regulate their purchasing habits in order to meet their needs at the minimum level. With the decrease in consumption, the decrease in production with the effect of the pandemic decreases the total benefit and added value, while accelerating the economic collapse, increasing the additional burdens on the states. Strong states will use their reserves in a 2-year period, and 2 years later, they will try to close the deficit with new taxes for these reserves. However, countries whose economies are heavily dependent on foreign countries will have to shrink with high acceleration due to their already lacking resources, and with this, they will have to grapple with serious crises by making high-speed unemployment possible. It is not difficult to predict, it is enough just to monitor the data.

Just as even the barbers that we never imagined are unemployed today, this crisis also contains many opportunities in itself. Most of my friends who have an open vision and strong foreign relations take this opportunity properly. I have no doubt that these opportunities will only leave themselves to innovative projects after a certain point for the next 2 years. I think that the inventions that make life easier in its new format will be highly valued on the showcase in the coming years, as well as getting harder with the change of lives.

We must continue to dream for the good and live according to the facts, albeit difficult. Dreaming is the input of our life.
