How to use prompt-based ai-generated imagery during a briefing to win hearts (and keep misunderstandings from happening).
While you might express yourself and your boundless imagination through ai-powered tools, I deal with the limited or limitless imagination of others. When words alone are sometimes insufficient, ai comes in.
I am an interior architect by profession, working in sales for custom tradefair stands or booths. I consult (potential and long-term) clients. We base our design and offer on the clients‘ briefing and budget.
The briefing might be excellent or lacking essential information. If "comfy gray furniture, or plants, or both" isn't accurate enough... - visualize it.
So instead of a client having to wait for 3D designs and renderings to then find it does not match 100% what he had in mind but couldn’t describe well …
AI enables us to quickly create an image to check if we are on the same page designwise. It helps to identify the best solution among a range of alternatives. To introduce new ideas and a fresh approach, fit to overcome outdated concepts. During the briefing (no matter if we meet in person, via a video call or even by phone and email), as we speak.
Saves time and keeps misunderstandings from happening. Images win the hearts of clients (now faster than ever before).
Conclusion: the quick and dirty version can prove to be helpful during a conversation, taking a dialogue to new heights as what is spoken (about) can be visualized in no time. Bye sketches.
