Today's devotional is from Life is a Goldmine: Can You Dig It?

"Then you will discern the fear of the Lord and discover the knowledge of God" - Proverbs 2:5.

God is a great communicator and wants you to know His will. When you diligently search for purpose (or anything for that matter) like you would for hidden treasure, you'll find it. God isn't hiding anything, but He does conceal it so you will have to search. And when your search is finished, you will appreciate what you have because of the price you paid to find it. You will also be less likely to sell it cheaply because of the price you paid for it.

Are you seeking the Lord for answers, expecting to hear? What are you doing differently that can give you the results you desire where hearing is concerned? Are you acting on what you hear or waiting for more and more confirmation?

Lord, I know You want me to do Your will, so I know You will reveal Your will to me if I ask. Your Word clearly states that I will receive if I ask and don't doubt. I'm asking You for wisdom today for my life and way. I expect to hear an answer soon, and I commit to act on that answer when I receive it without wavering.
