Every year we have been fortunate to go away with our kids during the week of President’s Day. With the exception of a broken ankle and Covid, we’ve cherished the 18 years that we’ve spent together as a family. Now, as my last child is graduating high school, we aren’t bound to this week anymore. I’m celebrating the fact that we don’t have to travel at the same time as every other family with school-aged kids. We have more flexibility and can travel when flights and hotels aren’t nearly as expensive.??

For the past three years, we have traveled to Myakoba, Mexico just south of Cancun. For two years, we stayed at the Andaz Hotel. This year, we shook things up and decided to stay at the Banyan Tree Resort. We’ve fallen in love with Mexico during our stays. The people, the culture, the climate, the beaches, the food, the ease of travel – you name it, Mexico has it. We opted to upgrade our experience to the Banyan Tree this year, knowing it was our last year with our daughter before she heads to college. This upgrade improved our experience over years past. Peace of Mind: We made the decision to pay more for our experience this year.? Knowing that we were stepping up from our previous hotel, I was already at ease when we got on the plane.? And when I walked into the Banyan Tree, I could immediately tell that the experience would be better. By engaging a professional staffing partner, our goal is to put our clients at ease.
