Expat Buyers Warm Brisbane's Winter Property Market

Expat Buyers Warm Brisbane's Winter Property Market

A few days ago I enjoyed one of the world's best views of stunning Burleigh Heads, over a fabulous lunch with some of the leading agents, property managers and administrators from our business at the glorious Rick Shores.

Is it any wonder, Baz Lurhman declared it was the combination of a Rick Shores' bug roll and incredible location, which sealed the deal for him to film his epic rock'n'roll fever dream Elvis in Queensland.?

What we certainly take for granted is what the rest of the country and indeed world envies and the proof is in the continued climb in Brisbane house prices confirmed by PropTrack in the graph below, lead by a steady migration of 1,000 southerners a week and expat's planning their mid year return home.

A shortage of rental properties is making buying decisions easy, coupled with lifestyle and affordability.?

The cold weather has Southerners longingly eyeing the Queensland Sunshine keeping our market warm, while their markets hibernate.
