Expanding Video Background with Runway ML

Runway ML's "Expand Video" feature allows users to transform videos into new aspect ratios by generating new background areas around your input video.

Step-01: Navigate to Runway

Visit Runway ML and Log into your Account.

Step-02: Generate Video

Click on “Generate Video”

Step-03: Select AI Model for Expand Video

Select “Gen-3 Alpha Turbo” AI Model for the video creation.

Then Click on “Expand Video”

Step-04: Upload your Video

Upload your video.

Add a prompt if you want to add any tweak. We left it blank, it’s better this way.

Step-05: Results

The Expanded Video is Ready. The generated video has a higher aspect ratio, and the quality of the video is exactly the same for us.
