Expanding SUD Services to Include Methadone for Opioid Use Disorder
December 14, 2022
12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Mile Square Health Center has led the development in substance abuse care by developing an integrated model for best outcomes. We are one of a few academic centers that have opened a methadone clinic to address the needs of the community.
Mile Square Health Center and Family Guidance Center (FGC) have developed an integrated collaborative model that offers access to comprehensive behavioral health and MAR services in the primary care clinic. The program includes all three of the FDA approved medications, methadone, buprenorphine/naloxone, and naltrexone for those patients with OUD. Mile Square and FGC team members will share how they established their partnership and program model while overcoming barriers in expanding services to patients with a special focus on methadone during this session.?
