We are searching for one Leadership-level colleague to join our Construction/Delivery team in Hyderabad. What your role & responsibilities are

You will have senior-level work experience in the construction of residential communities, from project conception to completion and handover. You will be responsible for the project's bottom line and drive entire construction management, including mobilisation, planning, timekeeping, and delivery with profit assurance. You will have led and handed over at least one gated community with a minimum of 100 homes.

You will be well experienced in Construction Planning, Project Management, Contract Management, Construction Management, Site Analysis/safety, Labour Camp Set-up, Value Engineering, Budget & Cost Control, Resource management, Vendor development, Co-ordination/Liaison, Commercial Negotiation, Quality Control, Design Management, Selection of Construction materials as per Standards & Reconciliation of materials periodically.

You must be ready to work independently, enthusiastic about work, self-driven, initiative-taking and accept challenges at all stages.

Your duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Planning, organising, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
2. Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates
3. Planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones and monitoring progress against established schedules
4. Sourcing apt contractors and vendors and ensuring on-time, on-budget and on-quality delivery
5. Managing the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work, and overseeing quality control
6. Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
7. Developing and implementing quality control programs
8. Reviewing and approving subcontractor and vendor payment requests and issuing changes in the work to receive prices from subcontractors in a timely fashion.
9. Effectively coordinating with Architects, Designers, Third Party Agencies, & Vendors, Consultants, as well as Labour for smooth completion of projects
10. Calling for and attending all project progress review meetings related to project
11. Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to management
12. Directing the purchase of building materials and any long-lead items
13. Assessing the engineering team required for the project as well as source, recruiting and managing the team to ensure delivery
14. Supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff
15. Promoting and maintaining health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed
16. Planning properly to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones, including site administration activities.
17. Setting and tracking Objectives and Key Results for entire project team is critical for delivery

Your experience and education will include

1. Bachelors in civil engineering
2. Masters' Degree in Construction Management will be an added advantage
3. Minimum 18 years of experience with a proven record of working in residential communities, including community-level infrastructure
4. Experience with Mivan is an added advantage
5. Outstanding inter-personal skills and team management skills
6. Outstanding documentation skills
7. Conversational-level Telugu skills are a must
