Expanding My Vision
Today marks a new journey for me and I am so thankful for the support, encouragement and experiences that have brought me to this divine moment and place in time. For my entire career, I have been steadfast in my desire and vision to create, to architect, to drive impact and to be of service.? Over the last few years, I have had the privilege to start, grow and accelerate BrainTrust Founders Studio , the largest membership-based platform with over 200 founders of beauty and wellness companies, co-found and co-lead BrainTrust Fund I as a General Partner, launch my acclaimed beauty business podcast, Business of the Beat and release my first book, The Beauty of Success: Start, Grow and Accelerate Your Brand ( #1 New Release in Business Entrepreneurship on Amazon).
It is with great pride, that I expand on my decades long experience, career trajectory and pillars of community, mentorship, education and capital with my new appointment as CEO of Carmell Corporation (Nasdaq: CTCX). In this role, I will ?lead the accelerated growth of Carmell’s flagship brand, Carmell SecretomeTM and expand its portfolio of beauty and wellness brands through strategic investments and acquisitions.?

Besides her proven expertise in commercial strategy and brand building, she has extensive experience in investing and growing beauty businesses. I look forward to her leadership in building Carmell into a leading platform for innovative brands in the beauty and wellness space.”
Since its business combination in July 2023, under the leadership of Rajiv Shukla, Executive Chairman, Carmell Corporation has completed a pivot towards skincare, recruited a top-tier Scientific Advisory Board, developed and tested 12 skincare products aimed at retail and medspa use, scaled up in-house manufacturing and packaging, built an D2C customer channel integrated with a finance enterprise resource planning and logistics backbone, lowered cash burn by more than 50%, raised $3 million from external investors and commenced commercial sales. The Company was also added to the Russell Microcap Index in June 2024.
I will continue to support our network of beauty and wellness founders in the BrainTrust Founders Studio and excited for the future of the expanded work that Lisa Stone and I have built under the leadership of studio President, Melissa R. Hibbért and our fantastic team.?
