The expanded and revised edition of the dictionary becomes the 'International Coil Winding Industry Guide'

QUiCKFairs, the organiser of the Coiltech exhibitions, announces the publication of the new edition of the Coil Winding Dictionary.
"We chose the International Coil Winding Industry Guide as the title of this edition" explains Benedetta Agostini, the editor in chief "because we combine the dictionary with the comprehensive catalogue of Coiltech Deutschland and Coiltech Italia. This makes the volume a unique and unprecedented reference handbook for the industry."
The Guide is composed of 582 pages. It consists of a dictionary of 939 technical terms in 9 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish), a comprehensive supplier directory of more than 400 companies, and the summary of the World Magnetic Conference Program.
How to get it on your desk
The Guide will be published mid-September. Coiltech will hand out the International Coil Winding Industry Guide to all the attendees of Coiltech Italy 2020 (Pordenone, 23/24 September). Industry professionals who cannot come to Pordenone can request the shipment of a personal copy. The Guide itself is free of charge, and only a contribution to the shipment cost will be asked. The form to request a personal copy will be available on the QUiCKFairs website starting from mid-July.
Corporate communication in the Guide
The high-level editorial contest makes the Guide an attractive environment for the corporate communication of companies operating in the Coil&Winding industry. For the marketing of the available sponsoring positions, Coiltech is beating a new path. Instead of a traditional price list, there is a mechanism by which interested parties state which price they are willing to pay for a position. The highest bidder wins the placement but pays only the amount of the second-highest offer.
"We used the lockdown to think about how we could offer the sponsorship opportunities at Coiltech at an even more customer-friendly way in the future" explains Ms Agostini the considerations that prompted Coiltech to develop this marketing model. "The use of this method enables us to make corporate communication in the Guide accessible to a larger group of companies."
The sponsoring opportunities are open to all companies in the Coil Winding field - producers of electric machines such as motors, alternators and transformers and their suppliers.
