EXOS Corporation now offers Cargo Insurance!
The Russian-Ukrainian Conflict has led to the cancellation of exports from Ukrainian ports such as Odessa and Mariupol. This is a major problem for many countries because Ukraine is one of the leading exporters of grain and other products around the world. In order to support ships that are transporting important food products from Ukraine, EXOS Corporation offers reinsurance coverage for your cargo. In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Ukraine and the mounting pressure on supply chains, we have developed a reinsurance solution for grain shipments out of war-torn Ukraine. Cargo reinsurance will provide coverage for shipments of grain coming out of war-torn Ukraine and alleviate continued pressure on supply chains and food security around the world.
Following the Ukraine-Russia agreement to allow safe transportation of grain and fertilizer through the Black Sea corridor, our team started developing policies to provide coverage for ships transporting food. To be able to assess the risk related to transporting food from the Black Sea, we developed a policy addressing ship owners’ exposure and third parties (e.g. charterers, cargo owners). We also reviewed current legal framework for responding to claims.
As an international company, we believe it is our responsibility to protect and support the world’s farmers and food businesses – especially during this hard time for Ukraine’s agriculture.
