Exit Interview by Patrick Donegan #129
For some time, I’ve been looking for one “source” that curates modern takes on HR Tech, perspectives from the people who build it, and its impact on enterprise — something that’s tailor-made by professionals for decision-makers.
I never found it — so I decided to build it.
Every week, I’ll be sharing fresh insights on tech platforms, design, data, and the future of work — straight to your inbox.
My Thoughts?
In a rare turn of events, one corporate giant has made positive strides in terms of female leadership. ???? Walmart announced that their current female CEO will be retiring and handing off the role to another woman. But this appointment is more than just a passing headline; it should be a call to action for us all. ?? That one of the world's most prominent enterprises can smoothly transition from one female leader to another speaks to the valuable capabilities and leadership prowess women and other diverse voices bring to the executive table. Yet, the rarity of such transitions underscores a lingering gap in our pursuit of genuine workplace equality.
If we want to continue seeing progress akin to Walmart's transition, we must advocate for diversity and inclusion at all levels of the corporate hierarchy. ?? This involves not just recognizing talent, but creating environments where diverse voices are heard, nurtured, and elevated. ??

The decision for such an investment reflects a growing trend among companies recognizing the importance of child care in influencing employee retention and overall satisfaction. ?? It's evident that as the future of work evolves, organizations are making headway in understanding and catering to the holistic needs of their workforce. ??
