Longer-term thinking means, when one of your best people leaves to pursue something else, thank them, wish them well, and stay in touch. You never know when paths will cross again.

A team member resigned
Thank you for all your hard work. I don’t want you to leave, but I’m excited about what you’re doing and would like to congratulate you on this new chapter. - Tom Hunt
Everyone at the company is watching how you treat a high performer on exit. How will you treat them when they leave? Even if they're high-performing. Most people are NOT working at the LAST job they'll ever have.Be proud of your 'coaching tree,' when people you've helped develop move onto new and bigger roles. Brag on a strong alumni network. And you never know when paths will cross again.

Stop talking about days of the week. Start talking about better meeting etiquette as Tracy Hawkins might say.Hours of productivity waiting to be grabbed back from inefficient, often unnecessary, flow-disturbing, status, update, and inform meetings. Easy money, take it. Cancel a recurring meeting today.

Love this comprehensive insight. To deepen analysis, consider incorporating cross-disciplinary data sets, like economic indicators and environmental impact studies, to uncover less obvious but influential trends over longer cycles.
