Exi safety barrier: safe work in explosive areas

Hey! We are glad to see you on our page. Today we will talk a little about the finished product Automation Spirit Alliance — exi safety barrier.

This element interconnects equipment located in a safe and explosive zone, preventing the occurrence of emergencies. ISB are actively used in various APCS:

• in measuring channel circuits;
• in control circuits with analog signals;
• in networks of discrete input channels;
• in networks of discrete output channels;
• in networks of power supply outputs;
• in networks of RS-485 communication channels.

The technical features of the barrier body make it possible to operate it at temperatures from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, as well as at relative air humidity up to 80%.

The 22.5mm wide case is suitable for easy DIN rail mounting. At the same time, there are 2 configurations in terms of current strength — 60 and 100 mA at a limit voltage of 24V. Both configurations have 6 exi safety channels.

Fully licensed and safe equipment

We are glad to announce that in 2022 we were able to obtain a Type Examination Certificate for this class of equipment, which confirms its compliance with all safety standards and technical requirements.
