With more than 20 years of exploring and experimenting with pigmented substances I have developed techniques that allow me to confidently create and record paint behaviour so that my audience too may engage in this exciting visual dialogue.?
It is best to see abstract art in person to truly experience the full effect. This will help immeasurably with understanding abstract art as one can see up close the textures, the effect of scale or size, and strokes and gestures made by the artist, the reflective qualities or matte finishes of the surface.
One can feel the power of a painting from across a room then move in closer and stand in the space the artist once occupied considering their thoughts and actions with each application or layer of paint. - Caroline Christie Coxon
