The Exercise Question

I was recently asked by a DPMer when I actually exercise, which is a pretty good question.
Cause in case you thought I just stood around telling you what to do, let’s set the record straight today.
Obviously some weeks are going to be different, depending on what’s on and how I feel, but this is the game plan for the most part right now.
Sometimes a longer walk of an hour or so is all I do on that particular day.?
Some days are total rest days (usually a Saturday)
Some days I double up a bike and a workout.
Personally, I find that I can’t do some of the stuff I used to like doing these days like chin ups and the like cause of old injuries that I have to keep in check.
The lesson there is to listen to what the body is telling you and modify things where needed.
There’s always something that you can do, even if it’s not what you used to do.
Is that what you might have expected? Or more? Or less?
I don’t really know what you think I might do.

But whatever your thoughts are, this is what is working for me at the moment.
Sometimes I need less.
The main thing I try and do these days is to listen to what my body is telling me.
I spent too long not listening back in the day that I’m paying for it now.
So there’s really no choice but to listen now unless I want to make things worse.
The point of this isn’t to shame you if you aren’t doing as much as you could be.?
More so to point out that I have to make time for all of that in my day around every other thing I have going on.
And that whatever you repeat continuously becomes a habit. Good or bad.
Just like you.
Anyways, I hope that gave you a little insight into my exercise world right now.
Cheers,
Daniel
