EXECUTIVE PRESENCE; it matters!

Being a past corporate executive (and currently, a Business Consultant & Leadership Coach), my observation and experience have repeatedly alerted me to one red flag regarding leaders. They may be intellectually brilliant and experienced, but many seem to lack something which disallows them from being the best they can be, from reaching their potential, and from even being true leaders.?We may call?it oomph, personality, or something else. I call it PRESENCE....EXECUTIVE PRESENCE.

What is EP? This speaks of one's mindset and behaviours: how they think; how they communicate, how they conduct themselves, and their overall style.?Paradoxically, this is something that many take for granted, but even Forbes magazine inferred that 85% of our professional success comes not from our technical skills, but from our SOFT SKILLS, our PRESENCE.

As a patriot and also someone passionate about developing others, especially our youths and even our leaders, I need to highlight the need for an awareness of, and coaching in, executive presence. The vision is to build top quality professionals, locally and even regionally; develop our citizens and by extension create a better country.?

The feedback from past professional students have been remarkable.?Once we create an awareness of this need, and build a fire within individuals from all backgrounds (not just the business world), we can really make an impact on our country's future through the development of our human capital.?My approach to EP is 'inside out', and so the personal transformation occurs at the very core and not just on the surface.
