Executive Moves at Xage Security, Saab, Second Front, DOD, and BENS
Geoffrey Mattson, a cybersecurity executive and entrepreneur, has been appointed CEO of Palo Alto, California-based zero trust cybersecurity platforms provider Xage Security. The company also reported a revenue growth of 420 percent year over year and an increase of 560 percent in bookings during the first two quarters of 2023 driven by a robust demand for its zero trust cybersecurity mesh platform across the critical infrastructure sector.
Swedish defense technology manufacturer Saab has acquired Silicon Valley, California-headquartered artificial intelligence company CrowdAI in a move to expand its portfolio with AI and machine learning capabilities. Under the deal, future operations of the acquired company will primarily occur in San Diego, California, and Devaki Raj, CEO and co-founder of CrowdAI, will join Saab as chief digital and AI officer.
