Bill Hunt Named SEC Cloud Center of Excellence Assistant Director
Bill Hunt, formerly an executive with the Small Business Administration (SBA), has been appointed to serve as assistant director of the Securities Exchange Commission's (SEC) Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).
He held a number of executive roles in the federal government, including those with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the U.S. Digital Service, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Scott Salmirs, president and CEO of ABM Industries, has joined the board of directors of ICF, bringing his extensive experience in initiating and maintaining business growth through company strategies and operations.

Christine Wormuth, who formerly served as the undersecretary of defense for policy, has been confirmed by the Senate to become the secretary of the U.S. Army, Politico reported Thursday. Wormuth ultimately received confirmation on Thursday, after being unconfirmed in the middle of her hearing with the Senate on Wednesday.
Oracle VP Tamara Greenspan Named to Homeland Security & Defense Business Council’s Board
Tamara Greenspan, group vice president and general manager for public sector applications at Oracle, was elected to serve as member of the board of directors of the Homeland Security and Defense Business Council.
During her three-year term, Greenspan will contribute to the council’s programs and efforts in supporting the homeland security enterprise and work with other directors representing the organization’s diverse membership that includes large, mid-tier and small companies, HSDBC said Monday.
Craig Miller Promoted to Viasat Government Systems President
Craig Miller, a 26-year veteran of Viasat (Nasdaq: VSAT), has been named president of the government systems business at the Carlsbad, California-based communications company.
Miller succeeds Ken Peterman in the role and leads Viasat’s global defense business in delivering new platforms to meet defense requirements in tactical data links, satellite networks, cybersecurity and information assurance, the company said Tuesday.
