Jennifer Felix Promoted to ASRC Federal President, CEO
Jennifer Felix, executive vice president and chief operating officer at ASRC Federal, has been promoted to president and CEO of the Beltsville, Md.-based government services contractor.
“I’m very pleased to lead ASRC Federal and work together with our 7,000 employees, who serve customers across the United States and overseas,” Felix said in a statement released Tuesday.
Gabe Camarillo, Josh Jackson Take SVP Roles at SAIC’s Defense Systems Group
Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has appointed Gabe Camarillo, most recently vice president of strategy, and Josh Jackson, an 18-year company veteran, as senior vice presidents and operations managers within the defense systems group.
Camarillo will succeed the retiring Rick Sabol to oversee SAIC’s Naval Sea and Air Systems operations, while Jackson will be responsible for the Navy and Marine Corps information warfare operation, SAIC said Wednesday.
Brett McGurk Named Primer Independent Board Director; Sue Gordon Appointed Strategic Adviser
Primer has added federal service veterans Brett McGurk and Sue Gordon to the San Francisco-based data analysis automation company’s board as an independent director and a strategic adviser, respectively.
Both appointees will provide strategic guidance to expand product offerings intended for the government, financial services and commercial sectors, Primer said Monday.
Gordon drove partnerships within the U.S. Intelligence Community and provided advice to the National Security Council in her role as deputy director of national intelligence. She also held a 27-year career at the CIA and worked as deputy director at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
Shon Manasco to be Nominated Full-Time Air Force Undersecretary
President Donald Trump intends to nominate Shon Manasco, acting undersecretary of the U.S. Air Force, to fill the job permanently, the White House announced Friday.
Manasco served as assistant secretary for manpower and reserve affairs at the military branch from November 2017 to December 2019.
KPMG’s Tim Gillis Appointed 2020 Greater Washington Region Heart Walk Chair
Tim Gillis, managing partner of the Washington metro area offices at KPMG, has been named by the American Heart Association as chair of the 2020 Greater Washington Region Heart Walk.
The Heart Walk is an annual noncompetitive event that promotes physical activity through a one- or three-mile walk, helps raise funds for health initiatives and celebrates the lives of heart and stroke survivors, AHA said Thursday.
