Nordstrom Names Lisa Price as New HR Chief
Nordstrom Inc. has named Lisa Price as its new chief human resources officer, effective November 6.
Farrell Redwine, who was named the department store’s HR chief in June 2021 and served almost two and a half years in the role, ended her role in October, according to her LinkedIn. Price, who appears to have replaced Redwine, most recently served as EVP and chief human resources officer at Domino’s. Prior to that, she worked on Nordstrom’s human resources team between 2015 to 2019, culminating in her role as SVP of human resources.
Price will helm Nordstrom’s diversity, inclusion and belonging strategy, as well as recruitment, retention, succession planning and learnings and development.
Big picture: With the new appointment, Nordstrom becomes the latest retail company to have lost a top DEI leader after just a few years.
Rupert Campbell Stepping Down as Head of Adidas North?America
More change is coming to Adidas.
“We regret to inform you that Rupert Campbell, president Adidas North America, has decided to leave Adidas to pursue other opportunities,” the company said in an internal announcement, which was obtained by WWD on Monday.

That’s another big shift for Adidas, which was already in the midst of major transformation. Campbell became president of North America in January 2022, right before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Zoom out: The company is still settling in under chief executive officer Bj?rn Gulden, who took the helm at the start of this year and is rebuilding from the implosion last year of the Yeezy partnership and the split from rapper-cum-designer Ye amid his his antisemitic rants.
Puma Taps Adidas Veteran as SVP of North America Wholesale, With US Biz a Big Priority
Puma on Friday made a key leadership appointment to its North America sales team as the company increases its focus on growing in the key market.
The German brand on Friday announced the appointment on Andrew “Rudi” Rudolph as SVP, wholesale North American sales. He starts Oct. 10 and will report to Puma’s president of North America Bob Philion.
Zoom out: The new executive, who will oversee sales functions for both the U.S. and Canada, joins Puma as the brand doubles down on elevating its U.S. business.
Status report: Puma’s North America business declined 17 percent in the second quarter, following a similar trend in Q1. According to projections from the brand, the rest of the year is shaping up to look similarly weak, with U.S. revenues projected to be down in the mid- to high teens.
