Exclusive: SaaSGrowth Acquired by SaaStock

James Ski is thrilled to announce that SaaSGrowth - the London conference for SaaS sales leaders and marketing leaders that James started in 2018 - has been acquired by SaaStock, Europe’s leading B2B conference company founded by Alex Theuma.

This is great news for all involved and it’s a testament to the awareness James has built around SaaSGrowth and everyone who attended over the years. In this article, we want to tell you more about it, talk about what this acquisition means for the future, and finally, share an exclusive free chance to help celebrate. Let’s get started.

The SaaSGrowth Story

In the summer of 2018, after delivering several great evening events for B2B sales leaders and reps under the Sales Confidence brand, a showstopping all day event felt like the natural next step to James Ski.?

The first event took place at London’s Olympic Park. At least 1,000 SaaS practitioners were there to watch speakers that included Jacco van der Kooij from Winning By Design and James Isilay from Cognism. James also put on an afterparty by the river at Four Quarters that no one will forget in a hurry.

Through the years, the event grew bigger and bigger, from 1,000 attendees to 1,500. We moved venue to Billingsgate in the centre of London. We got all of the best B2B leaders in Europe to share their thoughts, actionable tips and predictions for the future.

But then (and you know where this is going), COVID hit. The 2020 conference, which was already at an advanced stage of planning, was cancelled. Unsure about what to do next, James decided to pivot SaaSGrowth to become an online one-day conference.?

While it’s no substitute for meeting up in-person, going online meant we could have more people attending, with more 2,000 attendees joining us at certain points from everywhere in the world. We could also get speakers from the US to present without having to get on a plane. Being able to introduce Nathan Latka from the Latka Agency and Aaron Ross from Predictable Revenue to the SaaSGrowth audience were both really special moments.

As the awareness of SaaSGrowth grew, more and more mid-market and enterprise companies and their decision-makers became attracted to the brand. It was the place they came to learn about the latest technologies in sales and marketing and how they could benefit their operations. All this has led to today’s news, that SaaSGrowth has been acquired by SaaStock.

Information Powerhouse

James Ski is proud to announce the acquisition of SaaSGrowth by SaaStock, Europe’s leading B2B conference business. From today, SaaSGrowth will be absorbed into SaaStock.?

As a result, James will take an Ambassador role with SaaStock, continuing to promote mid-market and enterprise companies and innovative sales and marketing technologies to the SaaS audience.?

With the advent of AI and the risks posed by poor information, it made sense that the two largest conferences in Europe’s SaaS industry were combined under one roof to create one SaaStock powerhouse.?

This is great news for all involved and James is thrilled to make this announcement today. We’ll tell you more in the next few weeks and months about some forthcoming events, which you won’t want to miss.

Alex Theuma, SaaStock’s Founder, said the following about the acquisition:

‘From one of our very first SaaStock events when he helped run a pub crawl, James has always bought a huge amount of energy.?
‘From attendee to speaker to an Ambassador, James is a great advocate for the industry - and I’m proud for us to continue that working partnership.
’SaaStock will continue to grow our market as we attract more mid-market companies, more enterprise companies and more technologies to our events. AI will play a huge role in the future of this industry.’
