Q1. Describe your most successful content marketing campaign. Why was it effective, and what role did you play?

Ana elaborates upon the role of hiring the best writers and editors to massively improve the quality of already published articles. She talks about how the massive improvement in quality and content refresh with a focus on related keywords helped to get more traffic to the website.

Also, according to her, meeting the search intent of readers helps the most. At Semrush, she is mostly hiring subject matter experts to bridge the gap between quality and quantity.


Q2. What’s your process for understanding your target audience and their key pain points?

According to Ana, what helps her the most is talking to different teams in the company like sales and products. Anyone who is in touch with the end customers so that she can have real conversations with them. The next step revolves around keyword research and creating content according to SEO guidelines.


Q3. Tell me about the metrics you rely on to measure a marketing campaign’s success. What metrics do you track, and how do you go about measuring them?

According to Ana, the metrics that work the best for her are conversions generated, tracking sales, sign-ups, and CTR. In the end, what really matters is how are the articles generate sales.


Q4.? How do you plan content?

First step is to define goals, build a strong strategy, do keyword research and also conduct a site audit every three months to work on the pain points.?


Q5.What is your day-to-day work routine like in your current role?

It revolves around managing an in-house team and a freelance writers team. It also involves drafting detailed briefs so that writers can churn high-quality blogs. Last but not least, it involves around teaching writers to use project management tools to writers efficiently.
